NJFDW LAUNCHES 2021 ENDORSEMENT CAMPAIGN

NEWARK, NJ (September 14, 2021) This year, for the first time in the organization’s history, New Jersey Federation of Democratic Women (NJFDW) has launched a statewide endorsement campaign. In addition to endorsing Governor Phil Murphy and Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver, NJFDW has endorsed all Democratic women running for state office, including county chapter presidents submitting county and municipal level endorsements. The organization also launched a social media campaign with its endorsed candidates.

“We are so grateful to have such a dynamic and diverse field of women to endorse, “said President A. Burman. “We can only hope that by uplifting and ensuring these candidates get elected, we can continue to increase important sectors of representation across New Jersey and have a stronger, more robust Democratic party that preserves and supports the rights of women.” said President A. Burman.

Rachel Green 2nd Vice President and Chair of the NJFDW’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee added, “Candidates endorsed by the NJFDW receive direct support with organizing, canvassing, and promotion, in addition to becoming eligible to receive donations directly from the NJFDW’s fundraising efforts, such as the fundraiser being held on Thursday, October 14th at Forsgate Country Club.”
