NJGOP: Murphy Quietly Has One Of Worst Weeks Yet
Murphy Quietly Has One Of Worst Weeks Yet
Overshadowed by the 2020 election, Governor Murphy quietly had one of the worst weeks of his tenure in office.
- Slapped with a credit downgrade as he borrows over $4 billion.
- Released violent prisoners convicted of conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, aggravated manslaughter and homicide.
- Released COVID positive inmates into public transportation hubs.
- Announced a new set of business regulations.
“Phil Murphy’s weak leadership and reckless pursuit of an AOC style political agenda is putting us all in danger,” said NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt. “He’s risking our health, our safety and our financial security. New Jersey needs to band together and kick Phil Murphy out of office in 2021.”
