NJPCSA Announces Danielle West-Augustin as New Board of Trustees President
HAMILTON, NJ – March 17, 2022 – The New Jersey Public Charter Schools Association (NJPCSA) is pleased to announce Danielle West-Augustin, Chief Executive Officer of Queen City Academy Charter School in Plainfield, as the new President of its Board of Trustees.
West-Augustin formerly served on NJPCSA’s Board as Vice President and brings over 20 years of educational experience to the new role. Throughout her tenure at Queen City Academy Charter School she has been a tireless advocate, improving educational outcomes for all her students and students across New Jersey. Under West-Augustin’s leadership, Queen City Academy has seen schoolwide increases in performance assessments, launched vital programs leading to academic improvement, secured numerous life-changing grants for the school community, and expanded their offerings to serve high school students – ensuring that all students have the chance to receive a great public education. West-Augustin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Lincoln University and a Master’s of Arts in Educational Administration from Saint Peter’s College. She is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa.
