NJ’s Youngest Municipal Administrator to Deliver Keynote at National State of GovTech Summit

Intashan Chowdhury, an award-winning municipal manager, the youngest appointed in New Jersey history and current Business Administrator for Englewood Cliffs, NJ, has been announced as a Premiere Speaker and Keynote Panelist at State of GovTech 2025, taking place at Amazon’s HQ2 in Arlington, Virginia on June 17–18. Hosted by CivStart in partnership with the National League of Cities, Technologists for the Public Good, Government Technology, and the City of Arlington, the summit will convene over 300 government leaders, civic technologists, and startup founders to explore the future of innovation in public service. Chowdhury, known for his innovative approach to local government will take the main stage for the keynote session titled “AI That Serves Everyone: Tackling Real-World Problems with Inclusive Innovation,” discussing how artificial intelligence and digital tools can empower smaller, resource-constrained municipalities to better serve their residents.

“This invitation is a powerful reminder that even the smallest municipalities have a seat at the innovation table,” said Chowdhury. “As local governments face increasing demands with limited resources, it’s critical that technology serves everyone — not just those with the biggest budgets. I’m honored to contribute to this national conversation and champion inclusive, equity-driven approaches to government innovation.”
