NJUA STATEMENT ON FY’23 INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING
Trenton — New Jersey Utilities Association (NJUA) President and CEO Thomas R. Churchelow, Esq. issued the following statement today regarding hundreds of millions of dollars now available through the State’s FY’23 budget for infrastructure:
“This funding is the culmination of years of advocacy from various organizations to improve all aspects of New Jersey’s infrastructure. Perhaps more than any other state in the country, New Jersey needs safe, reliable and up-to-date infrastructure to function and succeed. The dollars now available in this budget is an enormous step forward. Our thanks to Governor Murphy, Senate President Scutari, Speaker Coughlin and all legislators who advocated for these funds. There is more work to be done for sure but we are one big step closer to our infrastructure goals now.”
