Norcross, Kim to Unveil New Bill Connecting Veterans with Apprenticeships

CHERRY HILL, NJ – On Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) and Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) – both members of the House Armed Services Committee – will hold a press conference at American Legion Post 372 in Cherry Hill.

Heading into Veteran’s Day and National Apprenticeship Week, the Congressmen will unveil new legislation titled the BRAVE Act – Bringing Registered Apprenticeships to Veterans Education.

Rep. Norcross and Rep. Kim will be joined during the event by veterans that have pursued skilled apprenticeships, Commander Joe Merimonde of American Legion Post 372, and Dan Cosner, President of the South Jersey Building and Construction Trades Council.
