Norcross Statement on Passing of Former Rep. William J. Hughes

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) released the following statement on the passing of former Congressman and Ambassador William J. Hughes:

“New Jersey has lost a true statesman with the passing of Congressman and Ambassador Bill Hughes,” said Congressman Norcross. “Hughes was an accomplished prosecutor, legislator and diplomat, and a tireless advocate for our community, but above all he was a gentleman who always treated colleagues with civility and respect. On behalf of a grateful nation, I extend my sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.”
