On behalf of Mayor Elect Frank Nunziato, Councilman Tom Mullahey and Councilman Mark Goldsack; our team would like to thank all the residents of the Borough of Rutherford who put their trust in our team just a little over a week ago on Election Day.   Finally, congratulations to our opponents for getting involved in the electoral process to move the Borough forward and let us work together to do so in the years to come.   We would like to emphasize the commitment we have made to  make our Borough stronger and remind all residents that we are here to help and need your ongoing input to do so. Also, we would like to send our congratulations to anyone who ran in this race.  Public service is at times a thankless job and putting your name on the ballot indicates the care and drive you have to want to take action to build a better Rutherford.  Let us work together from here on in with a level of cooperation that will bring the community together and make it stronger.   In closing, we would like to highlight that we are one of the only towns in Bergen County that held on to Democratic leadership.  Thank you to all the residents and volunteers who made that possible and we will continue to govern by those Democratic ideals that were promised during our campaign.
