BRIDGEWATER, NJ – “One of the County Commissioner’s favorite programs is the annual Community Box Seat Giveaway drawing for Somerset Patriots home games,” said Somerset County Commissioner Director Shanel Robinson. “Last year 40 nonprofit organizations were winners of the drawing, but due to the pandemic the season was canceled. We were all very disappointed that organizations were unable to attend the baseball games, but this year the ballpark is open, and we are glad that they will have the opportunity to attend a game.”
The Somerset Patriots are a minor league baseball team that competes within the Double-A Northeast League as the affiliate of the New York Yankees. Home games are played at TD Bank Ball Park in Bridgewater, NJ – the stadium has 6,100 fixed seats with a capacity to hold 8,500 fans. In 2015 and 2016, it was voted “Best Ballparks” by Ballpark Digest.
