Pallotta Statement on Proposed “Pay-To-Participate” Debate on WNYM-AM

MAHWAH – Frank Pallotta, Republican Candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District, made the following statement in regards to a proposed “pay-to-participate” debate, hosted by WNYM-AM:

“I will proudly debate my primary opponents anytime and anywhere to explain why I am the best candidate to take on Josh Gottheimer in the fall. I will not, however, have our campaigns extorted into paying advertising fees to an out-of-state radio station host who actively supports my opponent. I call on Mayor Ghassali to donate his “fee” to the BCRO, which can use the resources to further our Republican candidates here in Bergen County — not a charlatan.

We will be contacting the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) regarding this outrageous behavior.”
