Parsippany Mayor & Council Endorse Challenger Mastrangelo For State Senate in GOP Primary

Three incumbent Morris County freeholders appear well on their way to victory in what has been a particularly nasty 2019 election.

Tom Mastrangelo announced today that he is proud to have the endorsement of Parsippany Mayor Jamie Barberio and Town Council members Mike DePierro, Loretta Gragnani, Frank Neglia and Paul Cairfi for Mastrangelo’s run for State Senate in the June 6th Republican Primary election for Legislative District 26.

In his endorsement Barberio and Council members said Mastrangelo has been a strong advocate for Parsippany residents and taxpayers as a member of the Morris County Board of Commissioners ( formerly Freeholders).

“Tom has been responsive to Parsippany’s needs and has a great record on protecting our taxpayers. Tom has kept his promises in delivering 7 years of no tax increases, speaking out against the woke agenda, and fighting the Murphy illegal immigration plan. said Barberio and Council members.

Mastrangelo, a 5-term County Commissioner has held the county’s property tax levy at zero for the past 7 straight years.

“I know Jamie and the council members have worked hard over the year and he is currently fighting to undo the damage that the town’s former Democratic Mayor did to Parsippany,” said Mastrangelo, who is facing off against longtime incumbent Sen. Joe Pennacchio.

“I’m very glad to have Mayor Barberio’s and the council’s endorsement and I look forward to having the opportunity represent Parsippany in the state legislature and get New Jersey back on the right track,” added Mastrangelo.
