The New Jersey Business Coalition is inviting the media to cover a ‘State of New Jersey Business’ virtual town hall with business owners and leaders to discuss the current and future needs and concerns of the business community as a result of the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The live, virtual event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday (tomorrow), March 18. Focus areas to be discussed include childcare and K-12 education, summer outdoor recreation events and activities, theater and entertainment, indoor and outdoor dining, fitness centers and workforce development.
Scheduled participants providing short presentations on the call include:
Additionally, New Jersey policymakers have been invited to attend – as many have taken part in previous NJBC Town Hall events. Reporters will be provided the opportunity to ask questions of all participants during the discussion. Media interested in covering the town hall event can register here.
“As we turn toward the spring and summer months, many of the industries represented in our discussion have much in the way of challenges and uncertainty,” said NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka. “We look forward to shining a light on these on-going and upcoming challenges in the hopes of bringing solutions.” |
