Participants, Focus Areas for Thursday’s NJBC Virtual Town Hall Announced  
The New Jersey Business Coalition is inviting the media to cover a ‘State of New Jersey Business’ virtual town hall with business owners and leaders to discuss the current and future needs and concerns of the business community as a result of the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The live, virtual event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday (tomorrow), March 18. 

Focus areas to be discussed include childcare and K-12 education, summer outdoor recreation events and activities, theater and entertainment, indoor and outdoor dining, fitness centers and workforce development.

 

Scheduled participants providing short presentations on the call include:

  • Dr. David Aderhold, Superintendent, West Windsor-Plainsboro School District
  • Michael Chait, President, Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce
  • Vicki Clark, President, New Jersey Tourism Industry Association
  • Guy Falzarano, Founder/CEO, Lightbridge Academy
  • Howard Freeman, Executive Producer, New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning
  • Gene Jannotti, CEO, Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce
  • Paul Kieltyka, CEO of the Summit Area YMCA
  • Kevin McHugh, COO, the Atlantic Club
  • Adam Philipson, President/CEO, Count Basie Center for the Arts
  • Frank Preston, President, ACI Medical & Dental School
  • Lou Smith, Owner/Executive Chef, Blend on Main, Manasquan
  • Margot Walsh, Executive Director, Jersey Shore Partnership
  • Diane Wieland, Director, Cape May County Department of Tourism

Additionally, New Jersey policymakers have been invited to attend – as many have taken part in previous NJBC Town Hall events.
