Pascrell Announces New District Office Leadership

Experienced and reliable community servants to oversee Pascrell’s New Jersey office

PATERSON, NJ – Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) announced today the promotion of longtime aides Ian Godfrey of Elmwood Park to serve as his new District Director and Nancy Everett of Passaic City to serve as Deputy District Director.

“Ian Godfrey has played an indispensable role in my office these past few years. Whether it be setting up community events, assisting constituents, coordinating with local leaders, or helping deliver federal grants, Ian has done it all. I can think of no better person to lead our dedicated District Office team as we continue to proudly serve our North Jersey communities,” said Rep. Pascrell. “Fortunately for Ian, he will also have a tried-and-true Deputy Director to help him every step of the way in Nancy Everett. For over 16 years, Nancy has been our go-to person for constituent services and community relations. People stop me on the street to tell me how helpful Nancy has been in resolving their cases and delivering relief to their families. I am proud to promote these two outstanding individuals to lead our district office team. They will be tireless in continuing to serve the people of our beautiful 35 cities and towns.

“Our outgoing District Director Ritzy Moralez-Diaz has served our office and the good people of our district for 25 years. Ritzy has dedicated a quarter-century to helping others. That level of commitment to one’s community is rare and noble. I will miss Ritzy’s wise counsel and I will miss her presence. I wish Ritzy all the best in her future endeavors. On behalf of our nearly 750,000 constituents I thank her for all she’s done for our office and our community. In her work Ritzy has proven that one person truly can make a positive difference for others.”
