PASCRELL CELEBRATES RE-ELECTION, APPARENT BIDEN VICTORY

PATERSON, N.J. – U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. issued a statement after voters in New Jersey’s Ninth District overwhelmingly returned him to Congress for another term.

“Winning the support of your neighbors to serve in public office is a sacred trust and a cherished honor,” said Rep. Pascrell. “Our office represents every single member of our 35 beautiful communities. Whether a voter supports me or my opponent never matters: I have their back absolutely. We live in a divided country. Last night’s election showed that Americans want leaders who will speak to them with clear goals and direct honesty. I will always speak directly, and will never, ever stop fighting for our district.

“I am confident that Vice President Biden has won an overwhelming popular vote margin and a majority of the Electoral College to become our 46th President. Every vote must be counted. I look forward to working with him and my colleagues. Over the next two years, I will give North Jerseyans every fiber of my being to improve their lives.”
