Passaic County Commissioner Nicolino Gallo endorses Jennifer Polidori For Pompton Lakes Council
Pompton Lakes Council President Jennifer Polidori today received the formal endorsement of Passaic County Commissioner Nicolino Gallo — the county board’s lone Republican — in her re-election bid to the Borough’s governing body.
“I am proud to unequivocally endorse Council President Jennifer Polidori,” said Gallo (R-Totowa). “Jennifer embraces the responsibility that comes with public service and continues to be involved in a number of community organizations. She has been an integral part of creating a strong long term fiscal plan for Pompton Lakes while spearheading initiatives to upgrade infrastructure, responsibly redevelop the downtown area, and enhance public parks and services. I hope to work with Jennifer to positively serve the hardworking residents of Pompton Lakes for many years to come.”
Polidori, who is completing her first full term as a Councilwoman and fourth year overall, expressed her appreciation for Gallo’s support and eagerness to work with him to continue to help her fellow Cardinals.
“I am humbled to receive the formal endorsement of County Commissioner Gallo in support of my reelection this year,” said Polidori. “The Commissioner earned his seat by outworking his opponents in areas with diverse viewpoints, not just those that easily embrace Republican ideals. His election win is a testament to the crossover support built throughout his campaign, and I am proud to have him in my corner. Together we can do wonderful things to improve Pompton Lakes for the benefit of our entire community.”
Polidori and her running mate, Councilman William Baig, can be found on Row B on the ballot in the upcoming November 8, 2022 general election.
