Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie on the Passing of Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver, who was not only a long-time loyal friend but also one of the absolute best public servants in the history of New Jersey. Her commitment to public service and dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others were genuinely exemplary. Her representation of Clifton for many years in the state legislature was a testament to her deep connection with the community she served.

Throughout the years, I have always been so proud of her unwavering passion, integrity, and tireless efforts. She was a source of inspiration to many, and her absence will undoubtedly be felt across our entire state and beyond.

My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family. May the memories of Sheila’s remarkable achievements and contributions to New Jersey’s progress never be forgotten.

With heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy.
