Passaic County Democratic Organization Grants Official Slogan to Commissioner John Bartlett and Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way in CD-11 Congressional Primary

(Passaic County, NJ) — The Passaic County Democratic Organization (PCDO) met last night and unanimously voted to grant its official slogan to Passaic County Commissioner John Bartlett and New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way as candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for Congress in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District.

Passaic County’s portion of the 11th District includes Little Falls, Totowa, Wayne (in part), and Woodland Park. Commissioner Bartlett and Lieutenant Governor Way are both proud Passaic County residents with long records of public service, leadership, and dedication to New Jersey’s families. Both candidates have spent their professional careers advocating for voters’ rights and expanding access to the ballot, and the PCDO determined that each is well-suited to represent the residents of the 11th District and to stand up for working families in the face of the Trump Administration’s policies.

“The Passaic County Democratic Organization believes in empowering strong, proven leaders,” said PCDO Chairman John Currie. “Commissioner John Bartlett and Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way both bring integrity, experience, and a deep commitment to our communities. By granting the slogan to both candidates, we are recognizing the strength of our Democratic bench and giving voters a clear choice between two outstanding public servants.”

Commissioner Bartlett has focused on strengthening transportation infrastructure, supporting investments in public education, and improving quality of life for working families. Lieutenant Governor Way has been a statewide leader in advancing equity, education, and opportunity across New Jersey, with a longstanding commitment to civic engagement and inclusive democracy.

The PCDO looks forward to a robust and positive Democratic primary and remains united in its commitment to ensuring CD-11 continues to be represented by a Democrat who will fight for working families, protect democracy, and deliver results for the district’s communities.
