Pat Johnson wants to put “people first” in her bid for New Jersey state Assembly in LD 15

I am a creative thinker with a radical concept for state government in New Jersey, I will put people over political ideology. I am Calling it “People First”, Understanding that getting REAL results to help REAL people means having a reality-based policy analysis that compels thinking outside of Trenton’s tired political box. It’s not about parties; it’s about figuring out what works and helps real people in New Jersey.

By rebuilding economic and education opportunity and treating taxpayers with fairness, my policy agenda will once again make New Jersey a state that looks with hope to the future.

As a N.J. State Assemblywoman, I will:

CREATE CAREER OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL N.J. YOUTH-

Our public-school systems are failing kids by not offering education in the broad range of career opportunities that are available to them. Many students want to avoid college debt and earn a good living, and our state desperately needs more graduates educated in skilled trades and technology fields. Carpenters, stonemasons, plumbers, electricians, welders, HVAC technicians, automotive and aviation technical personnel; all these career fields offer high-paying jobs, but our schools are ignoring them. My plan will harness the skills and expertise of trade unions to work side by side with our school systems to offer New Jersey’s youth the opportunities they need and deserve.

MAKE NEW JERSEY BUSINESS FRIENDLY-

I understand that punitive redistributive taxation and regulation doesn’t create wealth. Prosperity and economic security can only be created by production of goods and services. Under Phil Murphy New Jersey is nationally ranked as one of the most anti-business states in the U.S., and the consequence has been a hemorrhaging of good jobs and lost opportunities. My plan will revitalize our economy by offering tax incentives to companies that create and retain jobs for New Jerseyans. My plan is based on a strict mathematical formula for how many jobs a company creates. It’s that clear and simple, which prevents lobbyist and insiders from gaming the system in Trenton.

DEMAND TAXPAYER FAIRNESS BY ENDING REBATE DISCRIMINATION-

Phil Murphy borrowed billions last year (which we will have to repay). and now sits on a windfall of federal relief money for Covid. He wants to buy re-election by mailing out $500.00 rebate checks, but only to people with dependents. What about all the taxpayers whose kids are out of the house and young people who don’t have children? Murphy coldly says “sorry,” you don’t matter. I believe that all people matter, and no taxpayer should be the victim of political discrimination. I will fight to assure that all property taxpayers and renters are treated equally and get their rebate checks.

WE CAN MAKE NEW JERSEY STRONG AGAIN

WE CAN MAKE NEW JERSEY FAIR AGAIN

WE CAN MAKE NEW JERSEY AN OPPORTUNITY STATE AGAIN

YOU CAN ELECT PAT JOHNSON TO THE NEW JERSEY ASSEMBLY
