PATERSON TO PROVIDE AIR QUALITY ACTION PLAN
City provides additional EMS services and distributes masks to residents.

Paterson, NJ – On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Mayor Andre Sayegh, in collaboration with the Paterson Office of Emergency Management, will hold a press conference to address the ongoing Air Quality Alert affecting Paterson and to provide important updates and resources to the community.

During the press conference, Mayor Sayegh and Fire Chief Brian McDermott will share vital information regarding the current Air Quality Alert and the measures being taken to support residents. In light of the situation, the Paterson Fire Department has strategically added additional EMS resources to ensure the well-being of community members.

Furthermore, as part of the city’s commitment to community safety, Paterson will be distributing masks at nine designated sites throughout the city. These masks aim to provide additional protection and help mitigate the impact on residents.
