Pennacchio Voted To Provide Money and Free Services to Illegal Immigrants; Mastrangelo Says he will fight Sanctuary State Perks
Sen. Joe Pennacchio’s vote for Gov. Murphy’s FY 2023 budget helped propel a sizable influx of illegal immigrants into New Jersey by giving more money and perks to illegal migrants, says Republican Senate Primary Election candidate Tom Mastrangelo, who added that the illegal migration will only get worse as a law used to keep migrants out of the country expires this week.
Article 42, is a U.S. public health law that that gives the federal government the authority to take emergency action to keep communicable diseases out of the country. I was employed by President Trump during the Covid 19 emergency. Under President Biden. Article 42 will expire this week.
In anticipation of its expiration an estimated 800,000 migrants are massed at America’s southern border, ready to enter the United States illegally.
As those illegal immigrants overwhelm America’s border security, they will immediately set their sights on a place to settle and New Jersey will be at the top of their list, says Mastrangelo.
Thanks in part to Pennacchio’s vote for Murphy’s budget, illegal immigrants will find a $500 check waiting for them, along with free legal services, healthcare and many other privileges courtesy of Garden State taxpayers, says Mastrangelo, who is running to depose Pennacchio in District 26 (Morris and Passaic counties. )
Mastrangelo says “enough is enough; it’s time for Trenton politicians to show concern for American citizens.”
“New Jersey is offering millions of dollars in programs, assistance, and privileges to illegal immigrants all paid for by legal residents and taxpayers,” said Mastrangelo. “Now with the border flood gates about to open and millions of illegal immigrants seeking a place to settle down, New Jersey will be targeted. The costs to our taxpayers will be astronomical.”
Mastrangelo said Pennacchio, who voted for the state’s $53.1 BILLION DOLLAR fiscal year 2023 budget, supported millions of dollars for illegal immigrants. In the state budget approved last year Pennacchio voted for Murphy special $53 million fund to give illegal immigrants a $500 check if they pay taxes.
Under Gov. Murphy, Illegal immigrants are entitled to additional money for a variety of services including education, medical help and legal aid. They are also eligible for driver’s license and for professional and occupational licenses in New Jersey – allowing them to compete with Americans for jobs.
“New Jersey is using taxpayer money to pay for illegal immigrants to fight extradition by the federal government. That is just absurd, but Joe Pennacchio has done nothing to stop it,” said Mastrangelo.
To make it harder to arrest illegal immigrants the state attorney general decreed in 2018 that New Jersey police officers and sheriffs be severely restricted in their ability to coordinate with federal immigration authorities.
“Joe Pennacchio has failed to lower property taxes and, failed to get suburban towns more school aid, but he voted for a budget that gives millions of dollars to people who are in New Jersey illegally.”
“Senior citizens and younger people who cannot stand up under the weight of New Jersey’s crushing taxes are forced to flee New Jersey,” added Mastrangelo, “Meanwhile thousands of illegal immigrants are being welcomed by woke politicians and are being given millions of dollars of aid and perks. That’s a terrible injustice to our citizens – one that I will fight to correct when I am elected to the state Senate.”
