PARSIPPANY – Today, Philip Rizzo announced his small business advisory council. The council includes representatives of several industries devastated by the draconian shutdowns ordered by Phil Murphey.
Serving on the council are:
Ian Smith of Atilis Gym
Justin DePasquale of DePasquale Salon Systems
Michael Cetrullo, Restaurateur
Tom Seretis, Diners
Karen Arakelian, Retailer and owner of White House Designs for Life
“One third of our New Jersey businesses have closed as a result of the draconian shutdowns by Phil Murphy,” said Rizzo. “We need a governor who will fight for businesses. The spirit of New Jersey workers is strong. Its time to take the boot off. All New Jerseyans are essential, all businesses are essential, and when elected governor, I will ensure we restore our economy and never shutdown again.”
All of New Jersey was negatively impacted by Murphy’s shutdown, but gyms, salons, restaurants and retailers were hit particularly hard. This advisory council consists of representatives from each of those industries.
In forming the council, Ian Smith said, “We were unnecessarily targeted by Murphy and the shutdowns. We continued to operate because that’s the American way, but were issued millions of dollars in fines. A Rizzo administration would restore New Jersey and I am happy to endorse his campaign for governor, and advise him on bringing back our economy.”
Karen Arakelian added, “I am honored to serve on Phil Rizzo’s Small Business Advisory Council Representing the retail industry in our state. This is the kind of vision that made me support Phil Rizzo so passionately He is for us, the people of NJ and wants us to have a voice. As governor, if ever there is another emergency in our state, Phil will consult with us on how our businesses will be affected and how the state can help us to survive and thrive. We need smaller government and more input! I am proud to endorse Phil Rizzo for governor of the state of NJ ”
