TRENTON, NJ — Kaitlyn Wojtowicz is the new Vice President of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood Action Fund of New Jersey (PPAFNJ). Wojtowicz will provide strategic leadership for the Public Affairs department, overseeing legislative advocacy, communications, and supporter engagement.

“We are excited to have Kaitlyn leading our Public Affairs department and external relations work,” said Triste Brooks, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central, and Southern NJ. “She is a seasoned advocate and sexual health expert who will continue to galvanize support for reproductive health and rights in New Jersey.”

“Kaitlyn will tirelessly advocate on behalf of Planned Parenthood’s patients across New Jersey,” said Roslyn Rogers Collins, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan NJ. “She is already a proven leader and an asset to our statewide advocacy work.”

Wojtowicz has more than a decade of experience in reproductive health and rights advocacy. Before assuming this post, she served as PPAFNJ’s Legislative and Political Director. Prior to joining PPAFNJ, she was Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan NJ’s Director of External Relations. She got her start as a Planned Parenthood volunteer and intern as a student at The College of New Jersey. Currently, Wojtowicz also serves as the Chapter Director of New Leaders Council New Jersey.

“I look forward to engaging Planned Parenthood supporters to build even greater strength as we continue to protect and expand access to care,” said Wojtowicz. “We’re going to fight like women’s rights and lives are at stake — because they are.”

Wojtowicz and her colleagues Amber Margentina and Casey Olesko comprise PPAFNJ’s leadership team. Margentina serves as the state’s Field Director, leading proactive grassroots activist engagement programs and building support for Planned Parenthood’s mission. Olesko is the Communications Director, overseeing external communications with supporters, activists, donors, patients, and the Planned Parenthood community in New Jersey and beyond. Together, the team works to ensure that reproductive health care is accessible to all, regardless of income or zip code.
