Pompton Lakes Council President Polidori announces she will run for Mayor in 2023

Pompton Lakes, NJ – Pompton Lakes Council President Jennifer Polidori today announced her intention to run for Mayor in the 2023 election. Here is her public statement:

As a near lifelong resident of Pompton Lakes, one of my proudest moments was being elected to sit as a member of the town council. I am very grateful to the residents of our community for continuing to elect me to represent you as a member of the governing body.

Pompton Lakes is a beautiful town filled with amenities that appeal to families and folks of all ages. Whether you are looking for some time in the outdoors on our beautiful trail system, a quiet day fishing on one of our many lakes, rivers & streams, time with the kids at one of our inclusive parks & playgrounds, catching a show at the local theatre, a game at one of our many sports fields or just a night of dining and cocktails in the downtown, Pompton Lakes has something to offer to everyone.

We are known for our strong sense of community spirit, and volunteerism. Activities and community events are hosted throughout the year and enjoyed by not only our residents, but the surrounding communities as well, thanks to the dedicated work of our various committees and organizations.

One of the promises I made when elected was to work hard to preserve the integrity of the town that I grew up in and chose to return to and raise my family, so that my children could have the same experiences that I had. I feel that there is more that I can do in my leadership role to keep this promise. It is for that reason, and after long consideration, that I have decided to run for mayor in the upcoming 2023 election.

Thank you, and I hope for your continued support. As always, I remain accessible to anyone that would like to reach out to me directly.
