Pro-Life Activists of New Jersey To Rally at State Capitol with Prayerful Procession

Pro-life Activists from around the state of New Jersey will gather at 125 West State St Trenton, Friday January 22nd for a peaceful rally and then prayer walk past Planned Parenthood. January 22nd marks the 48th year of the passing of Roe VS Wade. The New Jersey Right To Life has held rally’s at the state house capitol for the past 20 years.

This years rally for the first time will include a prayer walk past Planned Parenthood. Planned parenthood is the leading abortion provider in America.

Over 62 million babies have been killed by abortion in America. Over 21 million of those babies were African American.

Working For New Jersey a collaboration of Pro-life Groups In New Jersey joins with New Jersey right To Life in their mission and will be participating in the rally as well as the walk.

The willingness to partner birthed Walk For Life New Jersey which will be an annual event in support of New Jersey Right To Life’s annual rally.

The partnership of pro-life groups in New Jersey has brought about a higher awareness of the draconian legislation such as “The Freedom Reproductive Act” This legislation being proposed lowers standards for women seeking abortion by no longer requiring licensed Physicians to perform them. This bill also permits children to be terminated outside of the womb who survived an abortion.

The members and supporters of the coalition have been also petitioning legislators to pass the S/20/20 that would prevent late term abortions past 20 weeks. Currently there are no restrictions on abortion throughout all 9 months of pregnancy.

Marie Tasey Director of New Jersey Right To Life has a star studded lineup for the rally before the walk which includes, Father John Ginty of Holy Family of Nutly NJ, Senator Mike Doherty, Assemblymen Erick Peterson, Assemblyman John DiMaio, Assemblymen Ron Dancer, Assemblymen Robert Dancer, Melisa Diaz, Gigi’s Playhouse, Roberta Ryniak President of New Jersey Right To Life, Rabbi Noson Leiter, Director of Help Rescue Our Children, Megyn Mac Mullen of Rutgers Democrats For Life, Steve Richardson of Culture of life programs for Knights of Columbus NJ, Teresa Martinez, Hispanics For Life, Marianna Jodiece of Madres, Rev. Clenard H. Childress Jr of BlackGenocide.org, Greg Quinlan of Center for Garden State Families, Grace Rykacewski, Students For Life Ryder University, Shawn Highland of Family Policy Alliance of NJ and a representative from Congressman Chris Smiths office.
