Pro-Trump Super PAC Airs “Thank Van Drew” Ad
This weekend, the Committee to Defend the President—one of America’s leading pro-Trump super PACs—will begin airing a “Thank Van Drew” advertisement, praising Rep. Van Drew for switiching parties, abandoning the impeachment-obsessed Democrats, and supporting President Trump’s agenda. In the ad’s words, Rep. Drew “put country before party” instead of “participating in a sham impeachment.”

The Committee will put $250,000 behind the ad, including $200,000 for television spots and $50,000 for digital outreach. Airing this weekend and through the end of next week, the ad will only be seen in Rep. Drew’s 2nd Congressional District (New Jersey), airing on TV channels like CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox News Channel while also being promoted on Facebook, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
