RALLY ASKS GOTTHEIMER TO SUPPORT IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY

 PART OF A NATIONAL MONTH OF ACTION

(GLEN ROCK, AUGUST 16) A rally has been called for Friday August 16^th to demand Congressional representatives uphold their oaths of office to protect and defend the Constitution and begin an Impeachment Inquiry into the 45^th President. In our area, Indivisible NJ5, JOLT, the Democratic Club of Allendale, Women of Action NJ, the Highlands Resistance, Teaneck Women Together, District 5 Coalition for Change, Ramsey Pins, Mahwah After the March, and Waldwick Progressives are hosting a rally from 9:30AM – 10:30AM at Josh Gottheimer’s congressional offices at 65 Harristown Rd, Glen Rock, NJ.

Speakers will include educators, grassroots leaders, attorneys and individuals. The Mueller report highlighted ten instances of obstruction to cover up Russian interference with the 2016 election, and generated

thirty-seven indictments and seven convictions or guilty pleas. “No one is above the law and according to the Department of Justice, the only remedy for a sitting president is impeachment,” said organizer Susan Steinberg. “We demand our representatives do their job.”
