Red Bank Democrats: Jacqueline Sturdivant Wins Primary Election Numbers Finalized by Board of Elections

 

 

 

Jacqueline Sturdivant won the Democratic nomination for a position on the November General Election ballot as the final Primary Election count was held at the Board of Elections on Thursday, June 17, 2021.

 

The final numbers for the Democratic incumbents and challengers were:

Triggiano 576

Sturdivant 537

Yassin 524

Maida 490

 

“We are proud of our team’s discipline and teamwork in helping Jacqueline succeed in this race. Bruce Maida is a dedicated and passionate candidate who was eager to participate in the Democratic process. We offer our congratulations to Councilwoman Triggiano” said Ed Zipprich, Red Bank Democratic Chairman, “we also offer our thanks to Councilman Yassin for his service.”

 

“Thanks to all the Red Bank voters whose support and encouragement buoyed our campaign for the past 3 months” offered Maida,  “I thank everyone who voted for the Red Bank Democratic nominees for Borough Council, and especially, Jacqueline Sturdivant. She will be an amazing public servant.”

 

“I appreciate the support shown to me by so many residents.” Said Ms. Sturdivant, “Bruce and I had a solid platform that resonated with the community and I plan to continue to engage with residents on issues that matter to them during the Fall campaign.”

 

The Red Bank Democratic Organization looks forward to a disciplined race and winning on November 2nd in the General Election.
