REP. ILHAN OMAR ENDORSES HAMAWY FOR NJ-12

PRINCETON – Today, Rep. Ilhan Omar is endorsing Dr. Adam Hamawy in the race for New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District seat.  

“Adam Hamawy is the kind of leader this moment calls for. He has treated victims of war and genocide, and he’s ready to fight alongside me in Congress for an America where everyone can thrive,” said Rep. Ilhan Omar. “I am proud to endorse Dr. Hamawy and his vision to expand healthcare, end forever wars, and abolish ICE.”

Dr. Adam Hamawy is a father, husband, humanitarian, surgeon, veteran, and small business owner running to represent New Jersey’s 12th District where he was raised and is raising his children. He served as a combat trauma surgeon and became a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army, working with medical teams in combat and disaster zones like Iraq and Haiti and saving hundreds of lives.
