Rep. Norcross’s Statement on the Passing of Gaytana “Gaye” Pino, Longtime South Jersey Community Leader and Senior Citizen Advocate
CHERRY HILL, NJ – Today, U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) released the following statement upon hearing the news that Gaytana “Gaye” Pino, a friend and longtime advocate for South Jersey seniors.
“I am heartbroken by the passing of Gaye Pino. Gaye was a dear friend and a longtime advocate for South Jersey’s seniors. Her compassion extended to the broader community as she spent much of her life giving back to others. She developed programs, secured grants, and recruited countless volunteers over the years to keep seniors housed, healthy, and happy. She was also an accomplished business leader, having served as chair of the advisory board of Philadelphia University Business School and as the founder of the Cherry Hill Business Council. Gaye’s absence leaves a hole in our community that is impossible to fill. I send my sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who were touched by her immeasurable contributions to our community.”
