Rep. Sherrill Congratulates GFS in East Hanover on Dept. of Labor Award for Hiring and Retaining Veterans as Employees

WASHINGTON, DC — Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) offered congratulations and thanks to GFS Supply & Services, Inc. in East Hanover for earning a Gold Medal in the HIRE Vets Medallion Award Program at the U.S. Department of Labor. The HIRE Vets Medallion Award recognizes a company or organization’s commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development.

“I applaud GFS for their commitment to hiring and retaining veterans as employees and congratulate them on this recognition from the Department of Labor,” said Rep. Sherrill. “Our veterans deserve to have their experience put to use, and our economy is better off if we take advantage of this well-trained workforce.”
