Parsippany, NJ— Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) attended the retirement ceremony today for John Hedderich, Director of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armaments Center at Picatinny Arsenal. She released the following statement commemorating his tenure at the base:
“I want to thank John Hedderich for his years of service to our country at Picatinny Arsenal. Picatinny is a hub of innovation for our national defense thanks to the incredible research and development taking place at the CCDC, under John’s direction. John is a brilliant engineer and Jersey native who deeply understands the importance of this base to our great state and local economy. As Picatinny’s representative in Congress, he has been an invaluable partner to me and to my team, keeping me informed on the great work the Army is doing in my district and the needs of the military’s innovation enterprise. It has been a pleasure working together to support Picatinny these past four years. I wish him the best as he retires today.”
