Residents of the 2nd Congressional District,
Assemblymembers Rumpf & Gove Endorse Singh for Congress
Linwood, NJ — State Assemblyman and Little Egg Harbor resident Brian E. Rumpf of the 9th Legislative District announced today his support for South Jersey engineer Hirsh Singh in his campaign for Congress in New Jersey’s Second Congressional District.

“Hirsh Singh is the candidate we need for Congress in South Jersey,” Rumpf declared.  “He is a rising star in our Party with a bold vision for our region and a passion to fight for it.  Hirsh is our best candidate for holding onto the Second District seat and helping retain control of Congress to advance a conservative agenda in Washington.”

State Assemblywoman and Long Beach Island resident DiAnne Gove agreed that Singh is the best candidate to represent the Republican Party in South Jersey and to attract new voters to the Republican fold.

Assemblywoman Gove said, “Hirsh has proven a willingness to take on tough races, support the Republican team, and stand on principle for his beliefs,” Gove added.  “And he proved in the 2017 gubernatorial race that he can energize young people and constituencies that don’t consistently vote Republican.  I know he’ll fight for our regional economy, for jobs, and — most importantly — for our people.”

Singh has already won the support of the Burlington County Republican Committee, the Ocean County Republican Organization, the Camden County Republican Committee, the Atlantic County Republican Committee, Atlantic County State Senator Chris Brown, and New Jersey Young Republican Federation President Giancarlo Ghione.
