Our grief is immeasurable.

Today we mourn the loss of Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver with deep sorrow. As a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, alongside her remarkable stature as a heroine to Black women and girls, Sheila defined a path of greatness for us to follow her steps.

She leaves a powerful legacy of unwavering dedication, ceaseless service, and inspirational leadership. Her memory will forever echo in the hearts of the people of New Jersey, a testament to her boundless efforts in fostering progress within the community.

Her memory will continue to inspire and strengthen us. It was our esteemed privilege to know and love her. God bless her family and friends in this time of mourning.
