Rory Wells Addresses Brick Republicans Emphasizing Leadership Lessons and His Prior Military Experience in Race for County Commissioner

 
 
BRICK, NJ – Candidate Rory Wells, an attorney from Manchester, addressed the Brick Township Republicans on Monday evening, in addition to GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Jack Ciattarelli and several other candidates running in the field.
Wells spoke of his experience as a Lieutenant in the Marine Corps and emphasized the seriousness of having young Marines placed under your leadership stating, “You have to be accessible and you have to truly care about the people under your command”.  If elected Wells would replace County Commissioner Gerry Little – also a United States Marine.
Wells, who was accompanied by Manchester Republican Club President Robert Arace, spoke for about ten minutes addressing his priorities for the Commissioner Board including the County budget, handling of the COVID-19 crisis and safely reopening businesses.  Wells also stressed the need for unity in the Republican party.  Wells intends on interviewing with the GOP Screening Committee in an effort to win their support for the Republican nomination.

Wells, graduated magna cum laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, NY, with a degree in Government/Public Administration.  He earned his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA.  Wells and his wife have one daughter and are members of First Assembly of God Church in Toms River.
