Rose Marie Markle and Joshua Sotomayor Einstein Present: Hoboken City Council Candidate Challenger Meet and Greet

October 6, 7pm Willie McBride’s

Hoboken, NJ – Rose Marie Markle and Joshua Sotomayor Einstein, grassroots Hoboken good government activists, announced a meet and greet for all non-incumbent City Council candidates on October 6 at 7pm in the back room of Willie McBride’s. All non-incumbent City Council candidates are invited to attend to formally share their agenda in front of the group and then to mingle and discuss the issues informally after all candidates have spoken.

Rose Marie Markle, a former Hoboken Board of Education Trustee, stated, “it’s going to be a good opportunity for the people of Hoboken to have a chance to meet and hear from the candidates.” Sotomayor Einstein echoed her sentiments stating that, “the challengers, ie the non-incumbent candidates, have a lot less opportunity than the two incumbents to show their perspectives and policy goals to the people, hence this great chance for residents to hear from the challengers directly.”

Candidates will be given 3 minutes each to talk about their campaign agenda after which they will be invited to stay, mingle, and talk, with attendees.
