Congressional District 7 Candidate Builds Impressive Warchest in Just Three Months of Launching Campaign
Short Hills, NJ – Short Hills, NJ – Supporters of Rosemary Becchi, the tax policy attorney and public advocate behind Jersey First, amassed $387,000 in just three months for her Republican bid for New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, according to election financial reports filed by her campaign today.
“I’m very excited about this overwhelming display of support and the grassroots energy that is carrying my campaign. Everywhere I go in the 7th District, people are coming up to me asking how to get involved and encouraging me to move forward,” said Rosemary. “People are tired, as I am, of these uninspiring, career politicians in Washington and Trenton who are ignoring the problems of every day people and families in our state. I want to change that.”
Rosemary launched her campaign in July, offering New Jersey a fresh alternative to the career politicians who are failing to take on issues in Washington that address the every day concerns Garden State families have about the high cost of living, education and improving the state’s sputtering economy.
Rosemary has already received endorsements from groups such as FreedomWorks for America, a national conservative organization of 6 million Americans focused on promoting free markets and individual liberty. She also has been endorsed by Maggie’s List, a federal political action committee dedicated to electing fiscally conservative women to federal office and statewide executive office, and VIEW PAC, which is dedicated to protecting and increasing the number of Republican women in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate.
“People tell me they are disgusted with the current political climate and the pure posturing undertaken by our current representatives in Washington. I fully agree. It’s time to send people to Washington who really want to work on solutions to our problems rather than build political resumes and play politics,” Rosemary said.
“Tom Malinowski has been in Congress less than a year, yet he is already fully immersed in that D.C. political culture clamoring for impeachment, open borders, attacking our First and Second Amendment rights and ending our American way of life through the so-called Green New Deal,” she added. “We need someone down there who wants to get serious about making New Jersey more affordable, making education more affordable, and bringing the national debt and deficit under control.”
