Rupande Mehta for Senate: Bucco has Voted Against Women 100% of the Time — Currently Sponsoring Bill to Ban Abortion

The passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg shocked the country but it hit closer to home for the residents of LD-25. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg was a trailblazer for gender equality and women reproductive rights. It is imperative we have elected officials who will always be a champion for women’s healthcare, gender equality and ending violence against women.

Bucco has made it his career to undermine the rights of all women. Take a look at his record – Bucco has voted against women 100% of the time. It is evident that Bucco is an anti-abortion extremist who has actively worked against the advancement of all women.

Bucco’s agenda puts women’s lives in danger. He proudly praises his 0% rating from Planned Parenthood and decade-long votes against family planning.

“Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg was a pioneer and she paved the way for women’s rights in this country. I am running for State Senate to uphold Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s legacy. We need to have elected officials who will support and protect the rights of all women under all circumstances. My opponent’s record makes it clear that he has been against women since the day he was elected.

I call on Bucco to reject the nomination of any conservative Justice to the Supreme Court who could roll back decades of progress. This is no longer about Democrats vs. Republicans but a moral and ethical fight to protect all women’s rights. I will always be that leader” said Rupande Mehta, candidate for LD-25 State Senate.
