Sarah Schoengood Builds on Momentum, Launches New Campaign Ad
MONMOUTH, NJ—Today, Sarah Schoengood, Democratic candidate for New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District, launched her first campaign ad. This ad, one of several ads to air digitally across the district, comes on the heels of Schoengood’s second-place finish at the Mercer Democratic Party Convention and following an injunction granted by a federal judge in a case brought forward by Sarah and Senate candidate Andy Kim, to eliminate the county line.
“ From the moment we launched this campaign, I was committed to putting Jersey first and making this campaign about change,” said Schoengood. “When I first decided to run, machine-backed politicians told me to wait my turn. But Jersey families are tired of waiting for change, the kind of change needed to address the serious problems facing our communities – from the climate crisis to the opioid epidemic and the relentless attacks on women’s reproductive freedoms. This will be the first of an aggressive effort to communicate with voters across the district.”
