This Saturday, Governor Murphy to Induct Fairview Mayor, Vincent Bellucci, Jr., to His 7th Term as Mayor

Mayor Bellucci was just reelected for his 7th term and is the longest serving mayor in Fairview history, having served since 1996. He was recently inducted by the New Jersey League of Municipalities into the Mayor’s Hall of Fame, at Gold level for 20+ years of service. In addition, in 2017, he was elected as the new President of the Bergen County Democratic Mayors Association.
Among his mayoral accomplishments is the 2018 construction of a new 3 story municipal building with a design intended to emphasize safety and security. The new building replaced the early 20th century bank that had been used for the past 70 years as a borough hall. He also saw to the commissioning of a Veteran’s Park and 9/11 Memorial. Most recently, in October of this year, Mayor Bellucci, along with the borough council, adopted a resolution designed to improve business opportunities for the borough’s veteran community.
He is currently spearheading an initiative to procure land for a proposed dog park for Fairview residents.
Mayor Bellucci and his wife, Joanne, have 3 children. The mayor is also a Vietnam era United States Army veteran.
Governor Phil Murphy will in attendance and will be inducting the mayor for his 7th term. There will be a reception afterward at a local Fairview restaurant.
