School Board Member Oyin Owolabi Announces Run For Millburn Township Committee
Today, April 6, 2020, Oyin would like to announce that she is running for a seat on the Millburn Township Committee. She is running because she believes that the residents of Millburn deserve better and that they deserve to no longer be kept in the dark about what happens in our own town. They deserve to be treated with the utmost respect and led by someone who values transparency deeply.
As a mother to three kids here in Millburn and a wife to a wonderful man, transparency and respect are among the many things that Oyin and her husband instill in their children.
Most importantly, Oyin says it’s time to bring more transparency into the way we run Millburn. This is what she will be introducing to the Township Committee, and she asks for the residents of Millburn to vote for her in the upcoming June 8 Primary Election, and then in the General Election on November 2, 2021.
In addition to being a Board of Education Member, Oyin is an experienced Clinical Trial Manager, and she has served on the Environmental Commission. Oyin has also served as a Service Unit Manager for the Millburn-Short Hills Girl Scouts. These experiences have shaped Oyin into the woman she is today and have influenced her decision to run for Township.
