SCOTT MICCIO JOINS MALAMUT & ASSOCIATES

Cherry Hill, NJ – Malamut & Associates, LLC announces that Scott Miccio, Esq. joined the firm.

Attorney Scott Miccio joined Malamut & Associates today and will focus his practice on Government & Regulatory Affairs. Mr. Miccio is a seasoned litigator and municipal law attorney. He brings extensive experience with local government legal services from his past roles in both government and law firm environments. Mr. Miccio has experience working with local law firms where he regularly assisted public entity and local government clients with matters related to land use, zoning, redevelopment, and cannabis. His vast knowledge of election and campaign finance laws developed out of a past position as Assistant Legal Counsel for the Election Law Enforcement Commission in Trenton.

Mr. Miccio is frequently invited to present for the Institute of Professional Development on issues related to how recreational cannabis legalization affects municipalities in New Jersey. He reviews regulations, cannabis business applications, local approval processes, zoning restrictions, and cannabis use by employees. In addition to his professional contributions, he enjoys serving the community. He holds a position on the Board of the nonprofit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties which enriches the lives of young people with one-to-one mentoring.

Mr. Miccio works out of Malamut & Associates’ headquarters in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He received a juris doctorate from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of New Jersey.
