For Immediate Release: June 12, 2020

(Cherry Hill) – Today, the New Jersey State Council of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) officially endorsed Congressman Donald Norcross for re-election to the House of Representatives in New Jersey’s First Congressional District.

In a letter addressed to Congressman Norcross, the SEIU NJ State Council President Milly Silva stated, “Throughout your career in public service, you have been a staunch ally of our members, their families, and communities. We trust you will advance the issues important to them at this especially critical time, when we are faced with two grave public health crises—the COVID-19 pandemic and vast racial inequity.”

In addition to the SEIU, Congressman Norcross is proud to have the support of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Governor Phil Murphy, and a diverse group of organizations that represent the interests of working people and their rights to education, health care, and environmental justice, including the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the Communications Workers of America, the National Education Association (NEA/NJEA), the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and the Sierra Club.
