Senate and Assembly Committees to Hold Joint Hearing on NJ Transit Tomorrow

TRENTON — Senate Legislative Oversight Committee Chair Bob Gordon (D-Bergen/Passaic) and Assembly Judiciary Committee Chair John McKeon (D-Essex) announced that their committees will hold a joint hearing tomorrow on NJ Transit rail operations. The Friday, January 5, hearing will start at 10 a.m. in Committee Room 11 on the fourth floor of the State House Annex.

The committees will hear from three witnesses: Robert Lavell, NJ Transit Vice President and General Manager of Rail Operations; Stephen J. Burkert, General Chairman of SMART-TD Local 60; and Steve Santoro, NJ Transit Executive Director.
