Senate Budget Hearings: Community Affairs, Education & SDA

 

Trenton – The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee will hold departmental budget hearings tomorrow on Governor Phil Murphy’s spending proposal for Fiscal Year 2023 with presentations by the Department of Community Affairs, the Department of Education and the Schools Development Authority, said Senator Paul Sarlo, the committee’s chairman.

 

The in-person sessions will be held Thursday, April 28th, Committee Room 4, State House Annex, Trenton, and will be available online via the OLS homepage: https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/

 

  • 10:30 a.m. – Department of Community Affairs: With Lieutenant Governor Sheila Y. Oliver, Commissioner, DCA, and other top officials.

 

  • 12:00 p.m. – The Department of Education/Schools Development Authority: With Angelica Allen-McMillan, Ed. D., Acting Commissioner, DoE;  Manuel M. Da Silva, Chief Executive Officer, SDA, and other top officials.
