Senate Budget Hearings: Department of Education, Department of Children & Families

Trenton – The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee will continue the departmental budget hearings tomorrow on Governor Phil Murphy’s budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2022, with presentations by the Department of Education/Schools Development Authority and the Department of Children and Families on their departmental spending plans.

The in-person sessions will be held Thursday April 8^th in Committee Room 4, 1^st Floor, State House Annex, Trenton. The meetings will be open to credentialed members of the press corps and available via the OLS homepage: https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/

• 10:30 a.m. – Department of Education/Schools Development Authority: Acting Education Commissioner Angelica Allen-McMillan and SDA Chief Executive Officer Manuel M. Da Silva.

• 1:00 p.m. – Department of Children and Families: Commissioner Christine Norbut Beyer.
