Senate Budget Hearings: Human Services, Children & Families, Banking & Insurance, Corrections & Parole Board

 

Trenton – The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee will hold departmental budget hearings tomorrow on Governor Phil Murphy’s spending proposal for Fiscal Year 2023 with presentations by the Department of Human Services, the Department of Children & Families, the Department of Banking & Insurance, and the Corrections Department & Parole Board, said Senator Paul Sarlo, the committee’s chairman.

 

The in-person sessions will be held Tuesday, May 10th, Committee Room 4, State House Annex, Trenton, and will be available online via the OLS homepage: https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/

 

·    10:30 a.m. – The Department of Human Services: With Commissioner Sarah Adelman and other officials.

 

·    1:00 p.m. – The Department of Children & Families: With Commissioner Christine Norbut Beyer and other top officials.

 

·    2:00 p.m.The Department of Banking & Insurance: With Commissioner Marlene Caride and other top officials.

 

·    3:00 p.m. – The Corrections Department & the Parole Board: With Acting Commissioner Victoria L. Kuhn, Chairman Samuel Plumeri, Jr. and other top officials.
