Senator Cory Booker Endorses Paula Gilligan and Teresa Gilbreath for Glen Rock Borough Council

Glen Rock, NJ– Senator Cory Booker has endorsed Glen Rock Borough Council candidates Paula Gilligan and Teresa Gilbreath.

Sen. Booker said in a video shared on the candidate’s website: “These women are incredible leaders. They’re earning a lot of respect already, and I really hope you go out and vote for Paula Gilligan and Teresa Gilbreath. I can tell you right now, I’ve known very few people as long as I’ve known Paula, and she and Teresa will Get it Done for Glen Rock.”

This message from Sen. Booker follows the candidates’ endorsement from the New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, a statewide, non-partisan organization.

“It is such an honor to receive this endorsement from Senator Booker; we’re thrilled to have the support of such an incredible New Jersey leader,” Gilligan and Gilbreath said. “We hope that this endorsement illustrates the importance of local elections and the collaborative relationships that we hope to cultivate with our county, state, and national representatives–all of us together working to serve our wonderful Glen Rock residents.”

The candidates state in their platform that they are committed to advocating for Glen Rock seniors, the future of Borough assets, and ensuring that Glen Rock remains a compassionate and caring community.

“These are the kind of local leaders that make me celebrate our state,” Sen. Booker said. “I hope you’ll go to TeresaandPaula.com to learn more, to volunteer, to donate to them–because elections matter. As a former city councilman–let me tell you–our local elections matter.”
