Senator Nia H. Gill Statement on Passing of Edwina Davis.

MONTCLAIR – This week we lost a treasure. An extraordinarily kind, beautiful human being inside and out.

For 30 years and seven governors, Edwina Davis was the longest serving employee in the governor’s office and loved by those in all branches of government.

Edwina was an ever-present watchful eye lending her warmth and kindness to all. To the many newly
installed administrations she bestowed guidance and institutional knowledge. She would greet everyone
with a warm smile and candy from her candy bowl. There are few people who leave such an indelible mark.

Edwina will be dearly missed but will never be forgotten.
