Sheriff Anthony Cureton and Bergen County Police Chiefs Released a Video of Social Justice Support

Hackensack, N.J. – Recently, the Bergen County Sheriff’s office along with police chiefs throughout Bergen County released “Social Justice Statement of Solidarity from Bergen County Law Enforcement,” a video message.

Sheriff Anthony Cureton stated, “The recent death of George Floyd and other events across our nation, have illuminated the importance of unbiased policing, accountability and community support from law enforcement.”

Bergen County police chiefs were asked to join Sheriff Cureton in this joint effort as a message of hope, service, and commitment to our community. Sheriff Cureton and BCSO Command Staff extend special thanks to the chiefs who supported the vision by participating in the video.
