Sheriff’s Officers Endorsement, Ballot Lottery Win, highlight exciting week for Somerset County Sheriff Candidate Tim Pino

(Somerset, NJ) – It has been an exciting week for Republican Candidate Tim Pino on his journey to be the next Somerset County Sheriff.  During a private fundraiser on April 9, with well over 200 people in attendance, Pino announced his recent endorsement by the Somerset County Sheriff’s Officers Police Union.  

“When you are running for Somerset County Sheriff, this is the endorsement you covet, and this is the endorsement the Republican electorate wants to see before heading to the primary on June 4th” noted Tim who has also been endorsed by State Senator Michael Doherty, State Senator Declan O’Scanlon, Hunterdon County Sheriff Fred Brown, former State Assemblyman Nelson Albano and former Somerset County Freeholder Patrick Scaglione.        

Joining Pino and Freeholder Candidate Robert Quinn in their bracket for Assembly will be Morris County’s Brian Bergen (Legislative District 25) and Hunterdon County’s Forest Locandro (Legislative District 16).  

“ Both Forest and Brian share my passion and energy when it comes to politics, and both will make excellent additions to the New Jersey Assembly” added Pino.         

Freeholder candidate Quinn concurs with Pino- “We feel our ticket is the strongest to not solely prevail in the upcoming primary but also in November’s election. In fact, there has been a huge surge of voters joining the Republican Party in support of our platform.”  

Speaking of that June 4th primary, Pino and freeholder running mate Robert Quinn also learned that they had won the Somerset County Clerk’s Lottery drawing for ballot Column #1, the first time that has happened for a primary challenger in Somerset County in over 20 years. “It’s exciting, I felt like we were at the NHL lottery draft, a lot of tension and a lot of celebration in that room!” joked Pino.
